In this project we had to select a craft and study the craft, craftsman and craftsmanship. Proceeding we had to create effective and lucrative strategic interventions for uplifting the craft and to bring prosperity to the craftsman

So the craft i chose was Applique Work which is also called as Patch Work or Katab Kaam. Craftsman is generally the housewives who have been doing this since childhood due to mothers/mother-in-law.This craft was started by refugee communities like Rabaris', Khatris' and Meghwals' in Juna Wadaj or Kubernagar in Ahmedabad after partition.
